Jubilejný 10. ročník EKOROKU S NESTLÉ vyvrcholil v piatok 19. apríla 2013 na Námestí slobody v Prievidzi galaprogramom ku Dňu Zeme. Žiaci siedmych základných škôl z Prievidze sa verejnosti predstavili so svojimi výtvormi z papierových obalov, PET fliaš, tetrapakov a ďalších odpadových materiálov. Celkovým víťazom sa stala ZŠ Šafárika. Do EKOROKU sa zapojilo cca 3200 detí, ktoré spolu vyzbierali 120 550 kg papiera a zachránili tak 964 stromov. V zbere papiera zvíťazila ZŠ Energetikov s  vyzbieranými takmer 84 kg papiera na žiaka. Informovala o tom organizátorka podujatia Mgr. Božena Gatialová, riaditeľka Centra voľného času Spektrum v Prievidzi.

,,Tohtoročný jubilejný ročník EKOROKU opäť potvrdil, že táto hravá forma environmentálnej výchovy je pre deti najpríťažlivejšou a radi sa do nej zapájajú. To je veľmi dobrý základ pre budúcnosť, pre trvalo udržateľný rozvoj nielen Prievidze, ale celého Slovenska. Z detí, ktoré sa pred 10 rokmi zúčastnili na prvom ročníku EKOROKU, sú mnohí už dospelí a začínajú vychovávať svoje deti.
